Description
The Lalani Hotel story began in the early 90's when our founders traveled to the city of Bulawayo. They discovered how challenging it was to find quality and affordable accommodation.
After some contemplation, they decided to to solve this problem by converting their family home in Fortunesgate into a bed and breakfast facility. Their company was officially registered in October of 1997 and our doors were officially opened to the public. Our intention was to cater to individuals and families who were travelling to Bulawayo for business and leisure. Thus our trading name in those first few years of operation was Lalani Travellers Lodge.
At the time of our launch in 1997, we only had 4 bedrooms. We also provided our guests with meals such as lunches, breakfasts and dinners.
