Best time for wildlife viewing in the park is during the dry season (from June to October). Wildlife is easier to spot because the vegetation is thinner and animals gather around predictable water resources.

They are two camping ground. Sanyati West, situated near the mouth of the Sanyati river and the Tashinga Camp which is at the park headquarters. Camping equipment is available for hire at both. There are several other chalet camps.
