Victoria Falls Airport

Victoria Falls Airport is located 21 kilometres from the Victoria Falls Town Centre. It provides direct access to the Seventh Natural Wonder of the World and Heritage Site Mosi-oa-Tunya on the River Zambezi, also known as the magnificent Victoria Falls. The runway is 2286 metres long and 30 metres wide and can accommodate B737/ A319 aircraft or equivalent. Preliminary works are already underway to upgrade the terminal building and construct a 4-kilometre runway in order to accommodate wide-body aircraft.

The airport operates 12 hours per day. It offers airport facilities and services, including aircraft parking, cargo and passenger handling, refuelling, weather information, banking, restaurants and duty free shops.

It caters for regional traffic and should accommodate long-haul traffic as soon as the planned infrastructural developments are completed.
